Looking for a fruit forward coffee with a caffeine punch, then here is your coffee for springtime...

Our Mungo coffee comes from African Plantations Kilimanjaro (APK) in Tanzania. APK has an interesting story - that they are part of a Colombian third generation coffee company Oro Molido. They brought their best practices from Colombia to blend with great coffee knowledge and the perfect soils of Tanzania for this cross-continental effort.

Mungo is grown on the Lyamungo farm of APK under the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro and showcases some of the first coffee varieties in Tanzania.

Altitude : 1153 – 1317 masl
Process : Washed
Drying : 80% sun dried, 20% slack combustion silo
Varietals : Bourbon, Kent, N39

We roast this coffee light to highlight the intense fragrance with a beautiful floral aroma and flavor hints of citrus fruits. It is a very balanced coffee with juicy acidity and a long aftertaste.

We love to brew this coffee with V60 to get its crispy freshness, but it works well with many drip style brewing methods.

Recommended Brewing Temperature : 198 - 202 F.
