Kirimiro - Burundi - Light Roast
Tasting Notes: Green apple, floral notes
Though the Kirimiro region of Burundi produces a lot of specialty coffee, this lot comes specifically from producers with very new plantations. It’s processed at the TEKA washing station, which is well known in the area for its meticulous processing and Cup of Excellence coffees. Fermentation times for washed coffees vary between 12-18 hours, and drying takes about 8-10 days in raised drying tables.

We roast this coffee light to highlight its floral aroma and flavor hints of green apples. It is a very balanced coffee with sweet juicy acidity.
We love to brew this coffee with V60 to get its fruity freshness, but it works well with many drip style brewing methods.
Recommended Brewing Temperature : 198 - 202 F.
